Dreams are nice but it's even nicer when some of them become reality for you. Sebastien Ogier had a dream of winning the Rally Finland and driving through the infamous Ouninpohja special stage in a WRC car. Well, he can scratch both of those from his bucket list. Job superbly well done by him and the Volkswagen.

Talk of the rally were two Qatar M-Sport drivers, though. Thierry Neuville and Mads Ostberg were locked in a close battle for the second, and ultimately it was the young Belgian (that would be Neuville for those not initiated) claiming the silver. Oh, and he (Neuville) also won the power stage, earning the extra 3 points.

Kris Meeke had a lovely run up in his one-off for Citroën until the penultimate stage, which was 2nd run through Ouninpohja. He rolled the car and retired.

Pretty badass edition of one of the WRC classics - safe to say, if you can afford to visit a WRC event, this should be the one.

Ogier also set a new rekord on the Ouninpohja stage. Can't wait for the onboard footage.

Eight events into the season and I'm already officially tired of Ogier...

Wouldn't it be more fair to be tired of others not being able to match his pace?

But I understand what you mean, Seb all over again.
